How I ended up in this team:
Playing indoor at Queens Wharf ...I was approached by Fraser Bull, local talent scout, who spotted my obvious talent .. and the rest is history, as they say

Best thing about being a member of this team:
No primma donnas ...and if anyone threatened to be one, they would soon be knocked into shape

Liverpool (you had to ask?), Liverpool Reserves, Liverpool A &B teams, Liverpool Youth team etc

Chafie (hahaha ...only kidding) The one and only Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher, Bill Mullis (he could've been a contender!)

Tommy (Anfield Iron) Smith, Alec Lindsay

Best moment in football:
Standing in the Anfield Kop, watching Liverpool beat Aston Villa in May 1980 to clinch the League title (4-1), whilst Man U were losing to Leeds (there's only Avi Cohen!)

Best goal scored (own goals do count):
Where do I start ..there have been soooo many ..last years rocket against Tawa in the last minute, beating 5 men from half way line against Putaruru( remember Paul Walsh's goal in the 80's for Luton?), my freekick at Mt Maunganui in front of the NZ All Whites captain ....ah ..the list is endless I'll settle for the time I scored the winning penalty in a cup semi-final (top left hand corner), despite not having played in the game itself (not strictly in the rules, but hey, I wanted to win !)
